Reservation & Cancellation Policy

1 – Reservations for Public Bus

1.1 Online Reservations and Payment

Customers may reserve seats online at www.huskybus.ca by selecting their date of travel, number of seats, and by proceeding to our secure Paypal page for payment. Payment in full is the only way of guaranteeing a seat.

Customers may contact us at [email protected] The email must contain desired date of travel, number of seats, and direction of travel. Customers will receive a confirmation email from Husky Bus, and a request for payment. Payment in full is the only way of guaranteeing a seat.

Please do not send personal credit card information by email. Acceptable means of payment are cash in person, cheque or money order, visa or master card through our secure online payment method or by phone, and interac email money transfers.

1.2 Courtesy Hold

As a courtesy to customers, Husky Bus will hold seats for potential customers for up to one week, without payment. We realize that this may help customers in their travel plans. After this time, Husky Bus reserves the right to cancel the courtesy hold if payment has not yet been received, without notice to customer. Courtesy hold does not apply within 30 days of desired travel date.

1.3 Flexibility

Should a customer’s travel plans change after they have reserved a ticket, Husky Bus will do its best to accommodate changes, at no additional cost to the customer. Though Husky Bus will attempt to accommodate any changes, there is no guarantee that customers will be able to make changes once they have reserved their seats.

1.4 Walk-on Customers

While walk-on customers are welcome, the only way to guarantee a departure is to reserve in advance. If no tickets have been booked for a given day, Husky Bus may cancel its scheduled departure with no public notice.

2 – Cancelations for Public Bus

2.1 Customer Cancelations

Customers may cancel their reservations up to 7 days before departure for a refund of 85%, and up to 48 hours before the departure for a refund of 50%. Cancelations less than 48 hours before departure are not eligible for refund.

2.2 Guaranteed Departures

Husky Bus offers guaranteed departures, provided at least 1 seat has been booked in advance. If no tickets have been booked for a given day, Husky Bus may cancel its scheduled departure with no public notice.

2.3 Company Cancelations

Husky Bus may be forced to cancel a trip due to uncontrollable circumstances such as, but not limited to, flooding, road closures, equipment failure, or dangerous weather/driving conditions. Should Husky Bus ever cancel a trip, customers will receive as much notice as possible and a 100% refund.

2.4 Trip Delays

It is possible to encounter unforeseen trip delays due to circumstances such as, but not limited to, bad weather, temporary equipment failure, road construction, or unsafe road conditions. Should a trip be delayed 2 hours or more beyond the expected arrival time, Husky Bus will compensate customers with a 50% savings on their next trip with Husky Bus.

3 – Loading and Departure Time

3.1 Departure Time

Departure for a given day is clearly stated on our schedule page online. It is expected that all customers will check in 30 minutes before departure. Customers who have not arrived 10 minutes before departure may lose their seat to a standby customer. Our departure times are firm; customers who miss their ride due to late arrival will not be refunded or compensated by Husky Bus.

3.2 Loading

It is expected that all customers will check in 30 minutes before departure. Customers with canoes, kayaks, or other large items are asked to be present for loading 60 minutes before departure. Transport of large items is dependent on available space and subject to additional charges. It is strongly advised to reserve ahead for transport of large items.

4 – Private Charters and Adventure Packages

4.1 Reservations and Payment

Customers may contact us at [email protected] or 867-993-3821. The email must contain desired date of travel, number of seats, and direction of travel. Customers will receive a confirmation email from Husky Bus, and a request for deposit. Upon receipt of deposit, Husky Bus will confirm and guarantee customer’s reservation.

Please do not send personal credit card information by email. Acceptable means of payment are cash in person, cheque or money order, visa or master card through our secure online payment method or by phone, and interac email money transfers.

4.2 Cancelations for Private Charter

Customers will be asked to provide a deposit in the amount of 50% of total value of trip to secure booking. Payment in full is due within one week of travel. Customers may cancel their reservations up to 30 days before departure for a refund of 50% of deposit. Cancelations less than 30 days before departure are not eligible for deposit refund.

4.3 Company Cancelations

Husky Bus may be forced to cancel a trip due to uncontrollable circumstances such as, but not limited to, flooding, road closures, equipment failure, or dangerous weather/driving conditions. In the unlikely event that Husky Bus will ever need to cancel a trip, customers will receive as much notice as possible and a 100% refund.

5 – Daily Tours

5.1 Reservation and Payment

Customers will receive a confirmation email from Husky Bus, and a request for payment. Upon receipt of payment, Husky Bus will confirm and guarantee customer’s reservation.

5.2 Cancelations for Tours

Customers may cancel their tour reservations up to 7 days before departure for a refund of 85%, and up to 24 hours before the tour for a refund of 50%. Cancelations less than 24 hours before departure are not eligible for refund.

5.3 Company Cancelations

Husky Bus may be forced to cancel a trip due to uncontrollable circumstances such as, but not limited to, flooding, road closures, equipment failure, or dangerous weather/driving conditions. In the unlikely event that Husky Bus will ever need to cancel a trip, customers will receive as much notice as possible and a 100% refund.

5.4 Walk-on Customers

While walk-on customers are welcome, the only way to guarantee a tour departure is to reserve in advance. If no tickets have been booked for a given day, Husky Bus may cancel its scheduled tour with no public notice.

5.5 Departure Times

All tour departure times are clearly indicated on our website. Please be present at our office 10 minutes prior to posted departure time. If you have arranged for a hotel pick-up, please expect us in front of your hotel approximately 5 minutes after our posted departure time.
